Bills Sign Owens for 1-yearTerrell Owens was not on the free agent market for very long. A day after his agent Drew Rosenhaus said his client would not sign until next week, Owens inked a deal with the Bills. Buffalo is not normally active in the free agent market, but Owens big play capability caught their eye. Owens will now pair up with Lee Evans to make arguably the best 1-2 receiver combination in the game. Owens has already obliterated SF, Philly, and Dallas, will Buffalo find a similar ! fate? I say no, simply because he signed a 1-year contract. If T.O. acts up, the Bills let him walk after a year. No future investment in the diva WR. This is why I like the move for Buffalo. QB Trent Edwards will have his hands full, as will head coach Dick Jauron. The future of both their jobs could be decided by Owens success with the team this season. A good risk by Buffalo. The Bills are finally legitimate because of this addition.
Cowboys Begin To Move On Without T.O.

Dallas rel! eased Owens and safety Roy Williams on Wednesday and finished ! their te am purging. The bad eggs are gone, and Dallas continued their offseason moves on Friday inking DE Igor Olshansky. Olshansky was a starter in San Diego and should be a solid player in Dallas. He will likely line up opposite of OLB DeMarcus Ware. Olshansky signed a four year contract filling the void at DE left at Chris Canty's departure. Canty signed a 6-year $48 million deal with the Giants earlier this week. Canty is good against the run, but not a pass rusher. NY overpaid for Canty. Dallas has made some nice acquisitions so far in Olshansky, LB Keith Brooking, and QB John Kitna. Jerry Jones has finally realized chemistry is important when building a team.
